Alameda Jardins will have an exclusive club with spaces signed by major sports figures
In recent years Porto Alegre has seen a significant increase in a very specific profile of buyers of high-end residential developments: people seeking more convenience and quality of life who see sport as a form of leisure, health and well-being. To serve this profile, CFL Inc. conceived a residential complex that includes a true – and exclusive – club at home. The most iconic launch in the 30 years of the Rio Grande do Sul developer, Alameda Jardins – Residências do Golfe brings to the residential condominium concept facilities that were previously restricted to clubs and sports associations, such as tennis and beach tennis courts.
Built on the last large plot in the area overlooking the more than 55 hectares of the Porto Alegre Country Club golf course, the development was designed by Arquitectonica, one of the largest and most awarded architecture firms in the world, headquartered in Miami, which for the first time signs a project in southern Brazil. There will be two residential towers with 52 units of private area from 334 square metres (with options of three or four suites) and exclusive access to Club Jardins – a complete leisure infrastructure, furnished and equipped, across 3,686 square metres of communal area.

Signature spaces
The innovation of the launch located at Avenida Marechal Andréa, 122, near Avenida Nilo Peçanha, will lie in its signature spaces, since Alameda Jardins will have tennis and beach tennis courts endorsed by icons of both sports. The tennis court will bear the name of Rio Grande do Sul’s Thomaz Koch, one of the greatest Brazilian tennis players of all time, winner of several Grand Slam titles in the 1970s. The beach tennis court will be signed by former world number one Alex Mingozzi, captain of the Brazilian national team in the sport and the athlete with the most titles on the world circuit.
Club Jardins will also feature a fitness space by Cia. Athletica, one of the largest gym chains in Brazil, which in Porto Alegre will be accessible exclusively at Alameda Jardins – Residências do Golfe.
– It is a unique, innovative project full of personality in a location and on a plot unmatched in the city, offering in one place all the comfort, security, practicality and well-being a family could wish for, while being aligned with post-pandemic high-end trends – says the Marketing and Sales Director of CFL Inc., Rafael Starosta
The exclusive club will also have a multi-sport court, bicycle rack, business place, gourmet space, party hall, kids’ and teens’ spaces, a heated 25-metre indoor pool, a heated semi-Olympic pool, a playground, a garden nook, a pet place, a spa and visitor parking spaces.

Exponential growth
The presence of these sports facilities adds enormous value to developments, especially in Porto Alegre, where tennis traditionally has many enthusiasts and beach tennis keeps growing. Estimates from the Rio Grande do Sul Tennis Federation (FGT) do not give an exact figure, but indicate the capital has around 200 courts dedicated to the sport, bringing together athletes of all ages. This is, in fact, one of the main attractions of beach tennis: besides being easy to learn, it can be played by the whole family.
– We see many families interested in acquiring properties that offer more than just a place to live; they seek a more complete life experience, if possible amid nature and, at the same time, close to their day-to-day routine – stresses Starosta.
According to the Brazilian Tennis Confederation (CBT), the number of beach tennis players has practically tripled in the last three years, jumping from 400,000 in 2021 to 1.1 million in 2023. A good share of that number is in Rio Grande do Sul, one of the national powerhouses of the sport – the state is today the biggest champion of the Confederations Cup, the country’s most important competition, with three titles. On the world stage, Brazil is already the second force in the sport, behind only Italy, which invented it in the 1980s.
The tradition of tennis and the exponential growth of beach tennis, of course, are reflected in the search for a property, adding even more value to launches that include these sports facilities.
– The high-end consumer is extremely demanding and always looking for differentiators. Developments offering more leisure options, such as exclusive clubs with tennis and beach tenniscourts, are certainly perceived as high value-added assets by this type of buyer – adds Rafael Starosta.
