CFL brings one of the world’s largest architecture firms to Porto Alegre
At the invitation of CFL Inc., Arquitectonica, one of the largest and most awarded architecture firms in the world, will sign its first project in southern Brazil. It is Alameda Jardins – Residências do Golfe, being built on Avenida Marechal Andréa, next to Avenida Nilo Peçanha, in the Boa Vista neighbourhood. Scheduled for delivery in 2027, the development occupies the last large plot – approximately 8,000 square metres – overlooking the 55 hectares of the Porto Alegre Country Club golf course.
In all, there will be 52 units in two residential towers with private areas from 334 square metres and options of three or four suites. The development will bring to the heart of Avenida Nilo Peçanha a trend from the condominiums of the northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul and an exclusive differentiator in Porto Alegre’s high-end market: Club Jardins, a communal area of more than 3,686 square metres with complete social and leisure infrastructure.
With fully equipped and furnished spaces, it will be a true club without leaving home, with a multi-sport court, a heated 25-metre indoor pool, a heated semi-Olympic pool, a bicycle rack, a business place, a gourmet space, a party hall, kids’ and teens’ spaces, a playground, a garden nook, a pet place, a spa and visitor parking spaces. Club Jardins will also feature spaces signed by major sports figures. The beach tennis court will be developed under the guidance of the captain of the Brazilian national team in the sport, Italian and former world number one Alex Mingozzi, and the tennis court will be signed by former Rio Grande do Sul tennis player Thomaz Koch. The fitness space, in turn, will be Designed by Cia. Athletica.

Corporate tower
Alongside the residential buildings and closer to Avenida Nilo Peçanha, the iconic corporate tower Country Towerwill be built, transforming the area’s landscape with its distinctive design facing the Porto Alegre Country Club golf course. Also designed with local architecture firms such as HB and AT Arquitetura, JA8 (landscaping and urban design) and POZ (interior design), the complex will feature major names of Rio Grande do Sul gastronomy in the mall and on the rooftop, opening a new dining hub in the city and adding more services and convenience to the development’s surroundings.
– Alameda Jardins and Country Tower embody CFL’s purpose and are fully identified with our DNA of developing higher value-added real estate projects that transform the areas where they are located and bring constant innovation, always seeking to offer something positive for the surroundings and for the nearby community – says the CEO of CFL Inc., Luciano Bocorny Corrêa.

Arquitectonica in Porto Alegre
The invitation for Arquitectonica to develop the projects arose from admiration for the firm’s work, one of the most recognised and awarded in the world.
– Arquitectonica’s projects have been an inspiration and a benchmark for CFL over the past decades. We always followed their work around the world and had a plan to work together one day. But when we saw those billion-dollar sales values, that plan seemed distant – says the CEO of CFL Inc., referring to the calculation that estimates how much a development may yield to those involved in its construction.
Everything changed when the developer had in hand two exceptional plots, in Porto Alegre and Florianópolis, each covering two hectares and with a combined sales value of R$ 2.7 billion.
– That was when we understood we had reached the relevance needed to engage Arquitectonica in iconic developments for southern Brazil – says Luciano.
For Bernardo Fort Brescia, founder of Arquitectonica, CFL Inc.’s invitation involved very specific characteristics.
– When we were invited to this project in Porto Alegre, we were very excited. It was an opportunity to work in a new city, in a new environment, with a great client. Not to mention that the development has interesting urban and environmental characteristics. One of them is that it is located right in the middle of the city and, at the same time, connected to nature. Part of that connection is being close to one of the best golf courses in Brazil – highlights the founder of Arquitectonica.
The architect also says the goal was to create a building with the design philosophy of the contemporary era. In addition, the firm sought to create a mixed-use development environment, with an emphasis on residential and commercial areas.
– There are multiple layers of experience that make this project much more than just another building. If you look at the residential buildings, they all face the green areas of the golf course. They connect with the outside, while the large balconies carry the interior outwards and beyond, into the view – reinforces Fort Brescia.
An internationally acclaimed architecture firm
Founded in 1977, Arquitectonica is an international architecture and interior design firm. Recognised for its unique and innovative style, it is headquartered in Miami, in the United States, and is led by Bernardo Fort Brescia and his wife Laurinda Spear.

– Bringing Arquitectonica’s signature to a project in southern Brazil is a source of great pride and satisfaction for the entire CFL team. We managed to win over one of the greatest names in world architecture for a unique project with transformative potential for the region and for the whole city – adds Corrêa.
