A city is transformed every day through urban development, improvements to public spaces and initiatives that leave a legacy for the future.

For us, designing developments that offer rewarding living experiences also means looking beyond their boundaries, understanding their surroundings and each project’s relationship with the city.

This vision guides the urban improvements we carry out as part of our development obligations in Porto Alegre, helping revitalise and enhance public spaces across the city.

Urban improvements that leave a legacy for Porto Alegre

We see these commitments as an opportunity to improve quality of life for everyone. They take shape through projects that restore spaces and create more inviting places to gather, move around and spend time.

These spaces gain landscaping, amenities and new possibilities for use. In everyday life, these changes transform the way people experience the city.

From Praça Maurício Zaduchliver to the Historic Centre

In the first half of 2026, our urban improvement projects reached different parts of Porto Alegre, with interventions that renew the experience of those who use these spaces.

On the central reservation of Av. Nilo Peçanha, between Avenida João Wallig and Rua Marechal Andréa, the work includes maintenance such as mowing, pruning and painting kerbs, as well as renewed landscaping. Different plant species, decorative features and signage are being introduced, creating a better-maintained, higher-quality urban space that blends into the surrounding landscape.

At Praça Maurício Zaduchliver, on Rua Canto e Melo in the Nonoai neighbourhood, improvements include renewed environmental design and upgraded pavements, creating a more pleasant place to walk, gather and spend time.

At Praça Dornelles Medina, on Avenida Mathilde Trein Renner in the Vila Ipiranga neighbourhood, new planting and improved pathways also enhance the square and expand the ways the community can use it.

At the Guilherme Socias Villela Monument, on Avenida Borges de Medeiros in Menino Deus, the project enhances both the monument itself and its surroundings, with improvements that reinforce its presence in the urban landscape.

At the Municipal Administrative Centre, on Rua General João Manoel in the Historic Centre, improvements have renewed circulation areas, helping revitalise a place that is part of everyday life in the city centre.

Public spaces that shape the experience of city life

Revitalising a public space goes beyond its physical dimensions. A restored square, an enhanced monument or a more pleasant urban environment can encourage new ways of living.

Benches once again become meeting places, pathways become part of daily routines, green areas offer moments of respite, and places once used only to pass through can become places to stay.

The experience of living well does not begin at an apartment’s front door or end at the boundaries of a development. It extends to the streets, mobility, landscape and spaces shared by everyone.
